The Rockets look to win on their home floor now that Russell Westbrook will not play and is out indefinitely due to a knee injury. NBA playoff odds are at Bovada sportsbook.
The Thunder (2-0) earned a big win on their home floor in Game 2 but lost something a lot worse than one game. Russell Westbrook has torn his meniscus in the second quarter of the second game of the series. Westbrook will need surgery and is out indefinitely. Westbrook still scored 29 points in 37 minutes. Westbrook was just 1-7 from three-point range and had five rebounds and four assists despite the injury. Kevin Durant also scored 29 points and dropped nine dimes on the way to another victory at home. It was a big win to hold on at home and take care of their home court before heading to Houston.
The Rockets (0-2) suffered a heartbreaker to not win the close one in Oklahoma City. Ex-Thunder player James Harden scored 36 points with 11 rebounds and also had six assists. Harden was an impressive 17-20 from the free throw line. Omer Asik had just nine points but brought down a massive 14 rebounds. Patrick Beverly had 16 points, 12 rebounds and also six assists. Chandler Parsons, Beverly and Harden each logged over 40 minutes; Harden played 45.
Each team is 1-1 against the spread after two games in Oklahoma City.
I think the Rockets fight back and win their first game on their home floor. They were very close to taking one in Oklahoma City which would have been absolutely massive in this series at www.sportsbookroom.com.
