The Thunder play the Pacers in Indiana as both teams fight for the best seeding that they can receive for the playoffs. Check out NBA odds at Top Bet sportsbook.
The Thunder (54-20) travel to Indiana to take on the Pacers a night after playing the Spurs in a game to determine the best record in the West. Before the matchup with San Antonio, Oklahoma City trailed the Spurs by one game. The Thunder are 22-15 on the road and have beaten the Pacers in their one meeting earlier in the season. Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook lead the Thunder, as they look to get back to the NBA Finals like they did last season.
The Pacers (48-27) trail the New York Knicks by half a game with less than 10 remaining. It looked as if the Pacers had a fantastic chance for the second best record in the Eastern Conference but the Knicks have won 10 straight games behind Carmelo Anthony and have passed the Pacers. Indiana has not been playing poorly themselves; the Pacers won their last five and eight of their last 10 games. Three of the Pacers’ wins in this win streak has come against teams that will play in the playoffs such as the LA Clippers, Houston Rockets and Atlanta Hawks. The Pacers are looking for the easiest way to the Eastern Conference Finals and that is a realistic goal for the young squad from Indiana.
The Thunder are 44-28-2 against the spread heading into the game against the Spurs. Oklahoma City is 18-17-2 on the road. The Pacers are 42-33 ATS and 22-15 against the spread at home.
Both teams have a lot to play for but I think the Thunder will take care of business against the Pacers at www.sportsbookroom.com.
