The Philadelphia Phillies and the Milwaukee Brewers will meet on Tuesday from Philadelphia. MLB odds can be found at Bovada sportsbook.
The Phillies had a big ninth inning comeback win yesterday versus the Brewers. Although the playoffs maybe out of reach, the Phillies continue to play hard. They will look to continue that play behind the arm of Cliff Lee tonight. Cliff Lee has pitched into bad luck this season from a win – loss perspective, but has still only allowed 107 hits 111 innings of work this season.
The Brewers let one slip away on Monday and they will look to rebound tonight. Zack Greinke will make his return to the mound after getting scratched from his last start. On the season so far Greinke has allowed 117 hits it over 116 innings of work good enough for 3.57 ERA.
Philadelphia is 7-14 in their last 21 games overall, 9-20 in their last 29 home games, and 1-7 in Lee’s last eight starts. Milwaukee is 4-10 in their last 14 games as an underdog, 1-5 in their last six road games, and 5-0 in Greinke’s last five starts against the NL East. Milwaukee is 1-5 in the last six meetings of these two.
We actually really like Cliff Lee and this one and expect the Phillies to pounce on Greinke as he still may be ailing. Give us the Phillies as a moneyline favorite at home and this one at best sports books.
