The Giants and the Phillies will be playing the first of three games in three days on Monday in San Francisco. Check the MLB odds at Top Bet sportsbook.
The Phillies (14-18) are coming off a four game series with the Miami Marlins in Philadelphia. The Phillies won the first two games of the series and were looking at the possibility of really making that series a huge chance to get their season kick started. But, the last two games of the series went absolutely horrible for the Phils. Miami outscored the Phillies 16-2 in the final two games to close out the series, including a 14-2 beat down on Sunday. Roy Halladay was absolutely rocked on Sunday and could not even make it out of the third inning before getting pulled. Halladay gave up nine runs on four hits and four walks. In the second inning, Adeiny Hechavarria hit a grand slam off Halladay in the second inning, which forced his departure from the game.
The Giants (18-12 entering Sunday) are heading into this series in much better form than the Phillies. San Francisco swept the Arizona Diamondbacks in a three game series before taking on the Los Angeles Dodgers at home for three games. The Giants won the first two games of that series, and both were decided by one run.
The Phillies are 14-18 against the spread, right in line with their win-loss record, while the Giants are somehow 12-18 ATS despite being six games over .500.
San Francisco should win two out of these three games at the very worst in this series. The Phillies can win one but SF should do their job in this one so to take the Giants Click Here.
