The Phoenix Suns and the Golden State Warriors will open up their season tonight from Phoenix. Get NBA odds at Oddsmaker sportsbook.
It is start of a new era for the Phoenix Suns as Steve Nash left in the off-season via free agency. There is a new core players in the valley of the sun which includes Goran Dragic, Michael Beasley, and Luis Scola as newcomers to the Suns. While the Suns have serviceable players, many feel they are missing those one or two really good players to put them over the top and thus not many have them slated as a playoff team this season.
The Warriors are one of the up-and-coming teams in the Western Conference. They are looking to put together some sustained success and will do sell behind their two stars Stephen Curry and Andrew Bogut. They have spent largely the last two decades at the bottom of the standings and are looking to make an organizational change and start moving up the ladder. It will also be interesting to see how they perform in their second season playing under head coach Mark Jackson.
This is a very tough game to pick and to be honest you’re pretty much splitting hairs either way. We really think the Suns are going to have a very tough season and that the Warriors will be one of the surprise teams out west. For this reason we will take Golden State as road underdogs in this game so first get the sports odds.
