The worst team in the West, the Phoenix Suns, goes to Houston to play the Rockets who are looking to close in on a playoff position. Check out NBA odds at Oddsmaker sportsbook.
Phoenix (23-54) has been absolutely awful this season. The good news is that they are well on their way to becoming the worst team in the Western Conference which would really help their chance for a tremendous draft pick. The Suns are an impressively bad 7-30 on the road this season, which is the second worst road record in the league behind just the Charlotte Bobcats. Phoenix has lost their last nine games in a row and can maybe enhance their record after a decent draft pick this offseason.
The Rockets (43-34) used to be a middle of the pack team but are now one of the most exciting teams in the league because of what they did in the offseason. Houston sits in seventh place in the West right now but have not clinched their spot yet. They are two and a half games ahead of the Utah Jazz for eighth and three games ahead of the Lakers for ninth. On the other hand, the Rockets are only a game behind the Golden State Warriors for sixth. If the season ended right now, the Rockets would be the Thunder in the playoffs. Houston is 27-11 at home.
Phoenix is 29-45-3 against the spread this year and the Rockets are 40-36-1 ATS.
The Rockets are so much better than the Suns and will still be motivated. Houston still has something to play for while the Suns don’t at all at best online sportsbooks.
