The Warriors look to improve their seed as best they can at home against the Portland Trail Blazers. Find NBA odds at Oddsmaker sportsbook.
Portland (33-39) has struggled this year but have some promising pieces, especially in rookie Damian Lillard. Lillard has the ability to shoot the long and mid range jump shot and can also get to the basket almost whenever he pleases. Along with Lillard, Lamarcus Aldridge and Nicolas Batum have some real ability that can push Portland into the playoffs in the future. The Blazers have lost their last three, to the Oklahoma City Thunder, Brooklyn Nets and Utah Jazz. They currenlty sit three and a half games behind eighth seed Utah. In addition, Portland has struggled mightily on the road, going just 11-26 outside of Portland.
The Warriors (41-32) have a completely different outlook on the season right about now. Golden State has a lot of brilliant young pieces that can really do some damage against almost any team in the league. Stephen Curry is incredible in his playmaking ability with Klay Thompson knocking down outside shots. David Lee and Andrew Bogut run the frontcourt for the upstart Warriors. Golden State is 24-11 at home and have won six of their last 10 games.
Portland is 33-35-3 against the spread this season but just 15-21-2 when playing on the road. Golden State is 36-36-1 ATS and 19-16 at home.
Golden State is really solid playoff team that has the potential to do some damage in the playoffs. They play very well at home and are going to be too much for Portland to handle with sportsbook betting.
