The Celtics will look to go up 3-1 at home tonight when they take on the Atlanta Hawks. Up to date information on this game can be found at Top Bet sportsbook.
The Celtics prevailed in game three in overtime as they dominated the extra session en route to a 90-84 win. Paul Pierce led the Celtics once again with 21 points, while Kevin Garnett also contributed with 20 points and 13 rebounds. Rajon Rondo stole the show however recoding a triple double with 17 points, 14 rebounds, and 12 assists. Of note as well is the fact that Avery Bradley is questionable for game 4 with an injured left shoulder.
The Hawks have had the injury bug hit them, specifically on their front line. Josh Smith, Al Horford, and Zaza Pachulia are all out with injuries and they have had no luck replacing them. Joe Johnson led the Hawks with 29 points in game three, but it wasn’t enough to get the win. Also of note was the fact that Tracy McGrady looked limited in the second half after he appeared to sprain his ankle right before halftime.
Needless to say, this game has such a huge bearing on the series and after an overtime victory, all the momentum is firmly with the Celtics now. The Hawks played very well to force overtime in game three, but I think this is just about the end of the road for them, so I’m going with the Celtics to hammer one nail in the coffin tonight at the sportsbook.
