The series shifts back to Oakland as the Warriors look to stave off elimination and force a Game 7. Get NBA odds at Bovada sportsbook.
San Antonio (3-2) showed their true colors in Game 5 on their home floor and dominated throughout the game. Golden State was able to make a couple runs but it seemed like the Spurs always had the outcome secured, and ended up winning by 18. Five Spurs players hit double figures and basically all of them made huge shots to end all the Warrior runs. Tony Parker led them with 25 points and also had 10 assists in Game 5. Kawhi Leonard was 7-8 from the field and shot 3-4 from three-point range. It seemed like Leonard was always making big shots and was a force on the defensive side of the ball on Klay Thompson. Leonard finished with 17 points and seven rebounds.
Golden State (2-3) is not out of this whatsoever and get to go home to Oakland to play Game 6. The Warriors have been good on their home floor with that raucous crowd this postseason except for Game 3 of this series. Harrison Barnes finished with 25 to lead the Warriors on a night when Klay Thompson and Stephen Curry were not shooting well. Curry finished with just 16 and Thompson had only four.
San Antonio is now 6-3 against the spread in the postseason and after a couple of games in which they have struggled, the Warriors are now 9-2 ATS.
This series is going seven games. I am still unsure of who will take that seventh game but without a doubt, Golden State will win at home in Game 6 at the sportsbooks.
