The San Antonio Spurs (40-12) take on the Chicago Bulls (30-20) Monday night at 8:00ET. Get NBA odds at Bovada sportsbook.
For the year, the Spurs are 40-12 SU and 29-21-2 ATS. The Spurs are an impressive 18-10 on the road this season, including winning five of their last six away from home. Over their last ten matchups, they are 9-1 straight up and 5-4-1 against the spread. They are right in the middle of a two week long road trip and have 2-1 both straight up and against the spread so far on it. Once again the San Antonio Spurs are one of the more dominant teams in the league, and currently I have the Spurs atop my NBA power rankings. The Spurs have a very impressive record at 40-12, however the Southwest division is still being contested as the Memphis Grizzlies just won’t go away, trailing the Spurs by just seven games. San Antonio does everything really well as the Spurs have both a top ten offense and defense, while leading the league in assists per game, with an impressive average of 25.1.
After a rocky start, the Bulls have played much better on their home court lately. For the year, they are now 15-11 at home, to help improve their record to 30-20 SU, but still only 21-29 ATS. They are back home after spending all of February on the road with a six game road swing, in which they went 3-3 SU and 4-2 ATS on. The Chicago Bulls have been locked in a season long battle with the Pacers for first place in the Central division, and with a record of 30-20 on the year, the Bulls now trail Indiana by just .5 game. The Bulls have struggled a bit as of late as Chicago is just 2-3 in their last five games, but all five of those games were on the road, and now Chicago gets at least one game back home before heading back on the road for the next four of five.
San Antonio is a 2 point road underdog. This should be a good game, but Chicago isn’t at the level of the Spurs. Take San Antonio +2 even though the Spurs are coming off of a game last night at www.sportsbookroom.com.
