The Spurs (3-0) crushed the Lakers in Game 3 in the Staples Center. The Spurs won 120-89, delivering the worst home loss in the playoffs to the Los Angeles Lakers. Tim Duncan was 12 of 16 from the field in just 31 minutes. Duncan scored 26 points and had nine rebounds. Duncan also dished out three assists. Tony Parker had 20 points and seven assists in just 27 minutes on 9 of 14 shooting from the field. Five different people scored in double figures and four of the starters did. The lone starter who did not was Thiago Splitter. Splitter injured his ankle and it is unclear if he will play in Game 4.
The Lakers (0-3) sure are struggling in this post season without Kobe Bryant. Injuries are killing the Lakers as Bryant, Steve Nash, Steve Blake and Jodie Meeks all sat out Game 3 in LA. Dwight Howard scored 25 points and had 11 rebounds inside. Andrew Goudelock played 41 minutes in the guard position and scored 20 points for the Lakers. Him and Darius Morris, the other starting guard, had atrocious +/- ratings of -28.
The Spurs have covered the spread in all three games of this series.
