The A’s look to continue their hot streak in the second game of the series against the Giants. MLB odds can be found at Bovada sportsbook.
The Giants (28-23) have not been great in their latest games, just 2-3 in their last five and 5-8 in their last 13. After losing the first game to the A’s, they look to get back on track with Michael Kickham. Kickham has not made an appearance in the Majors yet this season but is projected to start on Tuesday for San Fran.
Oakland (29-23) have hit a hot streak that has taken them from below .500, to a place nowhere near that and in no danger of dropping under that .500 threshold anymore. The A’s have won nine of their last 10 games and all of their last four, including the first game against the Giants. Oakland swept the Royals by winning all three games by one run, then won two out of three from the Rangers in Texas. Following that up, the A’s swept the Astros in Houston and now are finally back at home. This will be the last game against the Giants in Oakland before they go to San Francisco for two more games. Jarrod Parker will start on Tuesday for Oakland and he is just 2-6 in 10 starts with an ERA of 5.76.
The Giants are just 19-32 against the spread and the A’s are a solid 29-23, just like their record.
Oakland will win this game and continue their stellar play while the Giants desperately try to get back on track so take the Athletics at www.sportsbookroom.com.
