The current wagering odds from Thursday Night NFL Football have the road team Seattle Seahawks favored by -5 ½ points with an over under line set at 41 points. Those who bet on The Seahawks on the money line will lay -225 odds with the return on Arizona at +190 odds on the money line.

These two NFC West rivals met twice a season. In 2012 the Cardinals defeated Seattle 20-16 and covered as a +1 home point underdog. In the return match the Seahawks crushed the Cardinals 58-0 so Arizona enters this game with a revenge following that ugly result. The Cardinals have a 2-0 home record this season as the team defeats Detroit 25-21 and two weeks ago they hosted the Carolina Panthers and win 22-6 as a +3 point underdog. Arizona has been an underdog in all three home games thus season. The Cardinals passing attach has improved with Carson Palmer under center but Palmer has his issues as he is turnover prone. The team has been great defensively this season as they give up just 21.2 points a game ranking at 12th in the NFL in scoring defense. Seattle strength is running the football but Arizona does a good job defending the run as they allow 90 yards per game ranking fifth best in the NFL in that category. Arizona does have a quality back in Rashard Mendenhall who came over from Pittsburgh in the offseason. We saw some positive things in the Cardinals 12 point loss at San Francisco last week as Carson Palmer was able to throw for 298 yards and two touchdown passes on the 49ers defense. Larry Fitzgerald got off last week with 6 receptions for 117 yards and had a 75 yard touchdown reception. The Cardinals defense were solid in the red zone last week allowing just one 49ers touchdown in their four drives inside the 20. On the road Seattle has a five point win at Seattle, escaped Houston with a 3 point overtime win and suffered a six point loss at Indianapolis.
