The St. Louis Cardinals and the San Francisco Giants will begin their NLCS with game one tonight in San Francisco. MLB odds can be found at Oddsmaker sportsbook.
St. Louis enters the NLCS on the heels of a thrilling game five win over the Nationals. They overcame a 6-0 deficit to win 9-7 in dramatic fashion. In the NLDS the Cardinals featured a very balanced hitting, defense, and pitching attack that they will you look to continue in this series. In game one the Cardinals will start Lance Lynn who is making his first postseason start. Lynn has only face San Francisco one time this season and gave up four runs in six innings in what wasn’t average outing.
The Giants also went five games in order to defeat the Reds. They defeated the Reds in all three games in Cincinnati to stun the favored Cincinnati squad. As usual the Giants are led by a stellar pitching staff and in game one they will start Madison Bumgarner. Bumgarner has struggled a bit versus the Cardinals and has allowed seven runs in 13 innings of work overall against St. Louis.
This should be an exciting series given the way these two teams both advanced to this point. We just like Bumgarner more than Lance Lynn in this spot so we will take San Francisco at home on the moneyline at online sportsbook usa.
