St. Louis is in first place in the NL Central, one game in front of the Pittsburgh Pirates. They have won just four of their last ten games and bring a 25-13 road record into tonight’s contest. Lance Lynn will toe the rubber tonight; he enters with an outstanding 10-2 record to go with his 3.42 ERA and 1.16 WHIP. Houston will send Erik Bedard to the mound and his 2-3 record to go with a 4.43 ERA. He received a no decision in his last start going 7 1/3 innings while giving up four hits and one earned run while striking out eight. In his last ten starts, he is just 2-1 with a 3.48 ERA. Houston finds themselves in last place in the NL Central, however has won six of their last ten games overall. They are 15-25 at home this season.
