The Red Sox enter having won seven of their last ten games. They defeated Tampa in 14 innings yesterday 10-8 behind a David Nava go ahead single in the 14th inning. They are two games in front of the Yankees and are 18-11 outside of Fenway Park this year. It has been an impressive season so far, and they ask Jon Lester to continue the trend tonight. In Lester’s last start he surrendered seven hits, giving up three runs on seven hits, striking out four and walking three.
