This three game series will put two division leaders against each other in Boston. Check the MLB odds at Bovada sportsbook.
Texas (35-21) have not really much trouble this year and their record shows it. Despite this record, the Oakland Athletics are still hanging around and have closed the cap significantly in the last week or so. Texas is just 6-4 in their last 10 games while the A’s are a scorching 9-1. Texas is on the road in this series, which is something that they have not really enjoyed. They still have a decent record on the road, 17-13, but it is far worse than what they are on their home field. Justin Grimm will pitch for the Rangers on Tuesday. Grimm is 5-3 with a 3.93 ERA. In his last three starts, Grimm has recorded three victories to his name.
Boston (35-23) has one heck of a week in New York as they dominated their main rivals and took two games from the Yankees. One of those games happened to be a 11-1 beat down and the other was 3-0 and completed in only six innings. Boston now holds a two and a half game lead on the Yanks in their division and are 17-12 at home. Ryan Dempster, 2-6, is the starting pitcher for the Red Sox on Tuesday.
The Rangers are 29-27 against the spread and the Red Sox are an even 29-29.
I like the Rangers in this game mainly because I do not trust Dempster at all. This should make for a good series with two very good ball clubs so check closely the sports odds.
