The Rangers are looking for the sweep and their fourth win in a row, while Seattle is looking to just get on the board with a win. Check out the MLB odds at Bovada sportsbook.
The Rangers (32-17) are cruising through this regular season so far with the best record in the Majors. Not a single team besides the Rangers has won 32 games at this point in the season and they continue to keep winning. They have won three in a row currently including two against the Mariners. Texas is going for the three game series sweep of Seattle. Nick Tepesch will be the starting pitcher in this game and is looking to get back on track after his last poor performance. Tepesch is 3-4 on the season with an ERA of 3.98. In his last start, he only made it five innings but only gave up two runs on six hits. He was given the loss and hit 96 pitches in that short amount of time.
Nobody needs a win more than the Seattle Mariners (20-29). The Mariners have now lost eight games in a row and have gone 10 days without a victory. Hisashi Iwakuma has arguably been the best pitcher for the Mariners this season with a 5-1 record and an ERA of 2.37. Iwakuma will start on Sunday.
The Rangers are 25-24 against the spread and the Mariners are just 21-28.
No sweep and the streaks will end. Seattle will get their first win in 10 days and the Rangers will now lose a game, something they haven’t done in three games so take Seattle at www.sportsbookroom.com.
