The Rays and Blue Jays battle in Tamps for the fourth day in a row and the Rays look to even the series. Check MLB odds at Bovada sportsbook.
Toronto (13-22) have had a good series against the Rays when it comes to wins and losses. On the field, they suffered a different kind of loss. JA Happ pitched on Tuesday night and after he threw a pitch, the ball came screaming back at him off the bat and hit him in the side of the head and went flying into right field. Happ was down on the field for quite some time before being carted off on a stretcher. The Blue Jays ended up winning that game but were then beat on Wednesday by the Rays, 10-4, in the most lopsided game of the series. R.A. Dickey, a former Cy Young winner, will pitch on Thursday for the Blue Jays. Dickey is just 2-5 in his first year with the Blue Jays after his incredible season with the Mets.
The Rays (15-18) are having a better season than the Blue Jays thus far but have been unable to really get a foothold and begin climbing up the standings. They have been trading wins and losses so far this year and have been around .500 for much of the season. David Price gets the nod for Tampa on Thursday.
The Jays are 14-20 against the spread and the Rays are 18-15 ATS.
This is a fierce pitching duel but I will give the nod to Price and the Rays because Dickey has been very off this season and even he doesn’t know where the ball is going at www.sportsbookroom.com.
